Yeah you read that right, I, Dave Bagler, have made sushi.
I was apprehensive at first because I don't really like sushi. To be fair I still think making it is more fun than eating it.

So I have been on a quest to essentially make tofu taste just like chicken. Many meat eaters said it couldn't be done. Many vegans told me I might be missing the point. I have however, carried on.
Last week I made dry rub tofu and while it was perhaps a little dry (I left it on the grill too long) it was really tasty.
This week I made some BBQ tofu that to date is my best result at simulating a chicken breast.
I've realized that I should probably start taking pictures of what I'm cooking to spice these posts up.

Time for something completely different. So I made dry rubbed tofu for Katie and I last night and it turned out really well so here's my recipe (it's similar to the Kansas city dry rub recipe):
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of paprika
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1.5 teaspoons of onion powder
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of cumin
1/4 teaspoon of ground mustard
