MarkMacKenzie.ca - screen shot.Mark MacKenzie is the GPO candidate in the Ottawa-West Nepean by-election.  I've known Mark for a while now as he's a prominent Green in the Ottawa area.  I like Mark's three election strategy he's taking in the riding.  There's this by-election, the next federal election and the 2011 provincial election in a short span of time.  Mark is planning on running in each of these and building off the canvassing efforts of the previous campaign.  Hopefully our results in OWN will show substantial growth over the next couple years.

Anyway Mark's campaign site is going to be launched today.  You can see the current site at www.markmackenzie.ca and you can preview the new campaign site at d6.markmackenzie.ca.  I didn't design the site myself but I did spend quite a few hours modifying the design to work with standard widths and colours and high resolutions.  For the geeks, this is a drupal 6 site, I created the theme as a sub-theme of the 960 framework.

The site is not complete but it's very close and the remaining work is not important enough to hold up launching the site.  Over the next couple days I'll be expanding the about section, linking the vision and the platform sections together and polishing the event and news listings a bit.

If you have time please make sure to contact one of the by-election campaigns (Leeds-Grenville or OWN) and help out how you can.  If you are in the area they are in need of foot canvassers.  If you can't make it to the riding you can have a big impact by doing some phone canvassing.

UPDATE:  The switch has been fliped so some of those links might not work and some of them may point to the wrong thing.

Great work, Dave. I'm also

Great work, Dave. I'm also helping Mark's campaign.
