Introducing Bagler IT

So it has been awhile since I’ve posted anything on this site. I’ve been busy getting my own business up and running.
Bagler IT is a full service web and software development firm. From planning to design, from development to hosting we work to deliver products that not only look great, but function just as well.
I have been doing side jobs under the Bagler IT name since back when I was in college, but now for the first time I’ll be working on Bagler IT full time. I’m very excited about it and I think that we’ll be able to do quite well. Read more »

We launched our regional campaign at the Rainbow Bistro, Saturday September 3rd. There was a great turn-out, it a fun night, and we raised so money heading in to the campaign. Big success all around.
In Ottawa-Vanier, Bagler said he has heard that his community feels ignored. "We're not big government, we're not big labour, we're not big business. If we had to be big anything, we're big community."

I was on CFRA's Lunch Bunch on September 5th. I was on CFRA's Lunch Bunch on September 5th. We covered a wide range of topics. One thing the host kept bringing up was the idea that this election is between two titans (the Liberals and Conservatives) but I have to disagree, this summer we knocked on over 5,000 doors and there weren't too many people excited about the idea of either these two parties. People are looking for another option, one that's responsible, forward looking and community focused. The Green Party is that option. You can listen to the full show here: Read more »
Capital Pride + a Baby Squirrel

I had a great time this weekend at Capital Pride. I've been participating for a few years now and it's fun to see how the Green Party contingent grows each year, and how it at least seems like the crowd is growing every year.
I liked the new route (the narrower street lets you interact more with both sides of the crowd) although I think it was better when we paraded past parliament.
It was great to see how many people came to support Capital Pride. The weather was not very inviting, there seemed to be more people in coats there this year than last year.
Having my face on our hand-out was interesting, quite a few "hey, that you!"s, I even met some people from Ottawa-Vanier, in Sandy Hill to be more specific.
We might not have the flashiest group of the three political parties but we more than make up for it by having the best policies: Read more »

Ottawa,ON (August 17, 2011) - The Green Party of Ontario welcomes Dave Bagler to its growing Green team.
"I'm excited to be working with Dave Bagler to share our Green vision and values with fellow citizens. Dave is committed to serving his community and has the integrity, compassion and energy to represent Ottawa-Vanier effectively at Queen's Park.” said Mike Schreiner, Leader of the Green Party of Ontario.
Dave and his team have already knocked on more than 4,000 doors. “We have been getting a great response from people at the door.
